Teulo Talks LIVE in Auckland
Spectra Café, The PWC building, 15 Customs Street West
Teulo Talks LIVE landed in Auckland’s waterfront at Spectra Café, a sleek, industrial space inside the PWC building with city views that turn heads after dark. Cocktails in hand, music threading through the crowd, and a buzz that said this wasn’t going to be your standard CPD evening.
On stage, Brian Wickersham, FAIA, founding partner of AUX Architecture, reframed adaptive reuse as more than sustainability—it’s a strategy for the future. Through cultural, residential, and institutional case studies, he showed how reimagining existing structures can honour context, respond to communities, and deliver design that lasts. It was sharp, purposeful, and refreshingly free of trend-chasing.
One attendee scored a rare 1:1 mentorship with Brian. The rest left with 20 NZRAB CPD points, new ideas to take back to their practice, and proof that professional development can look—and feel—different.
