Forest Of The Senses
an immersive collaboration.

A feast for the senses designed to inspire and activate your practice.

THIS IS NOT A SEMINAR.
IT'S A FOREST.
What if belonging began in the body?

Forest of the Senses transforms Reddie's London showroom into an immersive sculptural environment towering timber forms you can walk through, touch, and feel. Designed by Giles Miller Studio, fabricated by Glenalmond Timber from responsibly sourced Abodo wood, and brought to life through sound, scent, and taste, it's an installation that asks a quiet but urgent question: who do we design for?

For one evening during London Festival of Architecture, Teulo Talks LIVE brings together designers, fabricators, and material specialists inside the work to explore how provenance, materiality, and specification choices shape not just buildings, but belonging.

MEET YOUR MAKER,
Giles Miller Studio

Giles Miller Studio is a London-based practice working at the intersection of art, architecture, and material craft. Known for large-scale installations and facades that transform how people experience surface and space, the studio has built a global reputation for work that is as tactile as it is visually striking.

Giles Miller Studio is a Certified B Corporation, reflecting a commitment to practice that is as responsible as it is remarkable.
Forest of the Senses is the studio's collaborative contribution to London Festival of Architecture 2026.

The Installation:
Forest Of The Senses

The built environment shapes who belongs in our city. What we build, preserve, or remove determines who feels welcome, safe, and represented and who does not.
Forest of the Senses responds by reimagining belonging as something embodied, shared, and collectively shaped.
Designed by Giles Miller Studio and hosted within Reddie's Clerkenwell showroom, the installation transforms the space into a sculptural forest of precision-machined timber forms fabricated by Glenalmond Timber from responsibly sourced Abodo wood. Visitors move through the work rather than observe it, experiencing material as environment.
Belonging begins in the body.
Audiences are invited to touch the timber, while an atmospheric soundscape by MindFidelity, natural scent in collaboration with Dulcie, and woodland-inspired food and drink create a multi-sensory encounter that deepens connection and shared presence.

The Conversation:
Who Do We Design For?

Alongside the installation, a public talk and CPD session brings together designers, fabricators, and material specialists to explore how provenance, circularity, and specification choices impact environmental justice and long-term resilience.
The evening invites practitioners to ask: who is missing from the table and how can everyday material decisions remove barriers rather than reinforce them?

The evening covers:
How material choices connect to questions of belonging, access, and environmental justice
The fabrication story behind Forest of the Senses from Abodo timber to precision machining by Glenalmond
How collaboration across design, supply, and fabrication can create work with genuine social and environmental purpose
Practical frameworks for specifying materials that perform for people and planet
What it means to design not just beautifully, but responsibly
